Tour of Rwanda

I had meant to cover this in more detail over the past few days, but the Tour of Rwanda is well underway. Team Rwanda is participating. Be sure to check out the official website. For French readers, L’Équipe’s Phillipe Le Gars is providing some excellent coverage. Reports and news here. One of my favorite blogs, The Inner Ring, provided a story the other day, as well. With the World Tour on hiatus, there are other races going on in other parts of the world, though they often lack the quality and panache of the world’s elite riders, but the Tour of Rwanda is nothing to sniff at. The race reports suggest some excellent racing, large crowds, and good sport.
