Grey

November 13, 2011

Today’s Ride: 56km—Good Friday Road Race to Edgewood and back along Middletown (to and fro via Crooks Hollow)

Weather: Unseasonably warm (it’s the middle of November); very windy

Grey, but very warm this morning. But that didn’t stop the wind from sitting me up frequently. I climbed up Sydenham and got to work pushing into the wind along Harvest Rd., starting, though, to feel somewhat overdressed in arm and leg warmers and cap under the helmet. The world looked cold—bare trees, grey skies, turned fields—bleak even. But the air wasn’t so. Nevertheless, the sight was enough to warrant bundling up.
